Today, NovaGreen has taken its first step into reality,

We have won the Hult Prize 2025 On Campus program!

Our competitors were really strong, and we faced some technical difficulties during our presentation, but we managed to prove why our idea is worth it!

The pitch section—apart from the slides not working—wasn’t too bad; the Q&A section, however, was nerve-wracking. Fortunately, as CEO, I’m accustomed to verbal inquiries. I believe that’s one of my main strengths, regardless of language. The jury also proposed some interesting angles, such as how global warming might affect our production or where we would source our organic ingredients.

For the most part, we’ll be able to control our production speed with bioreactors, which are designed to regulate factors like temperature and pH. But of course, this is a multidisciplinary challenge, and here at NovaGreen, we are committed to making a difference, aligning ourselves with SDG 13—Climate Action.

As for our suppliers, Ecuador is blessed with many organic markets and local farming communities. We aim to collaborate with sustainable enterprises here as well, such as ile (Industria Lojana de Especerías—I’ve been a follower since day one) for organic, kosher extracts sourced from 100% organic farmers.

Our idea works! And it has massive potential for growth, both nationally and globally. This achievement is just a glimpse of NovaGreen’s potential—not just as a product, but as a company and a team.

We will keep pushing forward to turn this startup into a reality.

Onwards to the Nationals! 🚀
